The CDC recently issued interim guidance for safety practices for critical infrastructure workers. The interim guidance provides that “critical infrastructure workers may be permitted to continue work following potential exposure to COVID-19, provided they remain asymptomatic and additional precautions are implemented to protect them and the community.” The interim guidance provides steps regarding what to do regarding critical infrastructure workers should do who have had exposure but remain asymptomatic, including the following: pre-screening prior to starting work, regular monitoring, wearing a mask, social distancing, and disinfecting and cleaning workspaces. The CDC also provided a printable flyer for workplaces. Critical infrastructure workers include  those personnel working in 16 different sectors as set forth by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency.
